The owners provided great local recommendations! They were helpful with parking arrangements for my rental car. Breakfast in the room was a treat. The homemade plum jam was AMAZING!!!

great location beautiful building heating schedule water pressure
the location was great! it was only a short walk to the city centre, made exploring so easy. the building itself had a beautiful aesthetic, with a very cute vibe (i mean, who doesn't love a good welcome?).
I did find a couple of things not so great. the room lacked individual temperature controls. It got quite chilly since the heating schedule wasn't always ideal. also, the shower was a bit small. Water pressure could have been better too.

temperature controls uncomfortable temperature
the hostess upgraded me to a king size bed unasked.
i was not pleased that the room lacked in-room temperature controls and i had to rely on the house heating schedule. the room never really warmed up enough for me to feel comfortable, especially in the mornings when the cold air from the bathroom made showering unpleasant.

a basic stay with a few issues
cold room small shower
I found the room quite cold . The heating wasn't on often enough. i did not like the shower. It was really small, and the water pressure wasn't great. the bed was too soft for my preference, and the room felt quite basic. these things, especially considering what other places offer for a similar price.

The service was acceptable.
My room was really cold. There were no in-room temperature controls, so I relied on the house heating schedule. It was not on often enough for my liking. The bathroom was also basic. The shower was tiny, and the water pressure was not great!!!

convenient location helpful hosts excellent directions
I found the location convenient for accessing local attractions. The walk to the city center was manageable and enjoyable. I especially appreciated the helpfulness of the hosts, who gave excellent directions (ensuring I didn't get lost!).
The temperature control in the room was not very precise.
